Who we are

NALA is a non-profit agency and was incorporated on August 7,1969 as the first Hispanic Organization providing multiple services to Hispanic individuals in the Las Vegas community. Through the years, NALA has evolved to serving all people of race, gender, disabilities, or sexual orientation. Currently, NALA is proud to serve the Las Vegas Community offering programs such as affordable Child Care, Senior Services and Social Services.

Services

Preschool / Child Care Program

The Preschool / Child Care Program is the most affordable within the City of Las Vegas. It services over 400 children annually with the supervision of certified Preschool Teachers and foster grandparents. Children learn phonics and developmental activities. Each child is provided with breakfast,lunch and afternoon snack.

Social Services

Social Services offers Emergency Rental, Utility. Food Voucher, and Food Pantry Assistance to individuals who qualify for assistance. In addition, Client Services offers translations of non-legal documents, assistance with Job Referrals, assistance with Applications, and notary services.

Senior Services

Senior Services provide translations, utility assistance and rental assistance (when funding is available). Medicare forms preparation, Social Security, and Welfare Assistance.
